We’re hiring a Truck/Auto Technician with diesel or commercial vehicle repair experience who’s ready to transition into a new kind of role. This is a great fit for someone recently retired or discharged from the military with experience as a diesel mechanic.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime

Pay: $22–$25/hour (based on experience)

This position is a full-time, in-office role, Monday through Friday, located at the Mitchell 1 headquarters in San Diego.

What You’ll Do:

• Research and compile diagnostic and repair information for Class 4–8 commercial trucks
• Verify technical accuracy and consistency of data
• Collaborate in a team environment
• Suggest product improvements based on customer feedback or user needs

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma (auto shop classes a plus)
• Preferred: AA degree, Vo-Tech certificate, or 1+ year of hands-on truck repair experience
• ASE certifications are a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Completed at least one college-level English writing course (or equivalent)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work independently
